Rumor has October 1st as the official date Cisco employees will receive their layoff notices (one source says the layoff could exceed 20% of Cisco's workforce).
Additionally, the rumor has Cisco's data center SVP, David Yen, as being out.
According to Yen's Cisco Biography:
"He is responsible for continuing the success of the Cisco Unified Computing System and Cisco Nexus switching portfolios, and for taking Cisco's leadership in the data center to the next level."
What are the implications for Cisco given that Data Center is the only bright spot in its product portfolio?

Note to Cisco employees and media:
I'm now available to meet with interested parties in New York City.
