Cisco achieved a major milestone during its fiscal year 2010, the highest customer satisfaction survey score in its history.
Cisco customer satisfaction is measured on a scale of 1 to 5:
5 Very Satisfied 4 Satisfied 3 Neutral 2 Dissatisfied 1 Very Dissatisfied
For FY2010, Cisco's customer satisfaction survey achieved a score of 4.45, the highest ever (see below historical chart):
Curiously and very interesting to me, Cisco's vice president of global support operations - Jim Glueck, has joined Cisco premier certified partner, Milestone Technologies, as its new chief operating officer.
According to Milestone:
"At Cisco, Jim Glueck led several advanced technology support programs, designed to re-engineer the technical services delivery process. His work at Cisco has helped them to build-out an effective organization with a governance model, which has enabled growth and improved Cisco market presence and customer satisfaction, worldwide."
Perhaps Cisco's upcoming FY2011 customer satisfaction survey score will continue to increase without Jim Glueck.
