Arista switches continue to trounce Cisco switches in new deployments

2-weeks ago private financial cloud provider, Options, chose Arista switches over Cisco switches:

With Arista continuing to win over Cisco's best customers, I'm not surprised that earlier this week Cisco data center marketing manager Gabriel Dixon blogged:
Introducing Cisco Nexus 3100 Top of Rack Data Center Switches
Curiously and most alarmingly in my opinion, Cisco and Dixon were unable to provide latency numbers on these new Nexus 3100 switches targeted to compete with the switch portfolio of its top data center switch competitor, Arista Networks.
I mean I just don't get it, for example, Cisco spent $6 billion on research and development in FY13, yet its still not able to provide latency numbers on its newly announced Nexus 3100 switches.
