Snapshots of my July 4th 2012 vacation

This Independence Day Holiday I'm traveling with my younger brother, Andrew Reese, on a tour of the famous beach resorts along the East Coast of the Mid-Atlantic States.

We're celebrating and paying respect to our grandfather's incredible legacy:

Took the early afternoon Amtrak Keystone Train from New York's Penn Station to Middletown, PA (the closest train stop to my home town of Hershey, PA).

On the train ride down while in New Jersey, I foiled 2 suspicious people (who later told me they were Saudi Arabians) from breaking into my train car's Danger High Voltage wiring closet. After I stopped them, I alerted the Conductor who called ahead for the Police to meet us at the next train stop.

5 Policemen rushed into the car and physically removed these 2 scary nuts from the train. Dozen's of passengers breathed a sigh of relief from this very disturbing and stressful incident. Since I worked in the Pentagon for 2-years and also worked in both World Trade Center towers, 9/11 was very, very personal to me and if I have anything to do with it, no terrorist will ever succeed on my watch!

JD's Junction - Middletown, PA

Across the street from the Middletown, PA Train Station is a terrific watering hole, JD's Junction. JD's staff are famous for passing out Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to their customers. Well, after my 3-hour train ride, I kicked back at JD's and enjoyed Jerry's famous Almond Joy Martini and Chad's "tongue-slap-your-brains-out" Cajun Fried Mushrooms! Above is the photo Andrew took of JD's staff (Chad is holding my brother's Reese's Peanut Butter Cup laptop carrying case, see Reese's Memorabilia, while Amber is holding a signed copy of my brother's book: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups: The Untold Story).
