Fired top Cisco executive Carlos Carnevali has been cleared of all criminal charges by a recent court ruling .
It now appears Carnevali is pursuing Cisco in court by claiming his dismissal by Cisco harmed his professional life.
Carnevali claims Cisco never even bothered to learn the simplest facts about his criminal charges and that Cisco abandoned him after he had served 15 long successful years spearheading Cisco's very successful Latin American operations.
Astonishingly, Cisco remains on a legal hook which seeks to require Cisco to pay a stunningly large amount, $3.215 billion , in tax penalty claims originating from Carnevali's now dismissed criminal charges.

What's your take, was Cisco too hasty in kicking Carlos Carnevali to the curb?
Also, is it possible that Cisco itself might be the guilty party here, which will perhaps eventually require Cisco to pay billions in tax penalty claims?
