This coming Wednesday on June 19, Alcatel-Lucent CEO Michel Combes will announce Alcatel-Lucent's mid term plan.

So what to expect?

Well, the unconfirmed rumor is that Alcatel-Lucent is spinning off its Wireless equipment business while keeping its IP and Optical business units.
