Network World: Stuart Biggs, first Cisco CCIE, dies at age 53
It is with great sadness to learn that the first Cisco CCIE in history, Stuart Biggs CCIE #1025, passed away yesterday on Monday, June 24, 2013.
According to Cisco's Director of Operations, Tony George :
2:04pm Tuesday, 6/25/2013:
"It is with great sadness that I inform this group that Stuart Biggs passed away yesterday after collapsing at his home and entering into a coma on Thursday last week. Stuart made numerous contributions to the technology we all use everyday and as this story outlines, its propagation to the world via knowledge transfer in various forms.
"He was a personal and professional friend of mine and the world is a worst place today than yesterday with him gone."
