On July 17, 2007 John Berrett earned his Cisco CCIE Storage #18460 certification.
Fast-forward 8-years and I mean, you just can't make this kind of crazy stuff up (view the United States District Court Grand Jury Charges).
According to Count 5 of the indictment, using his employer's credit card, Berrett is accused of charging more than 2,200 tips to online strippers over a mere 13-month time period (those tips alone allegedly totaled more than $100,000).
Additionally, John Berrett's employer happened to be Cisco's largest U.S. gold partner, World Wide Technology (WWT), whose "executive sponsor" is none other then Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins (see the below bullet point):
Furthermore, the following Network Storage Presentation reveals that Berrett was a key player in the WWT partnership with Cisco:
Finally according to Count 8 of the indictment, over a mere 13-month time period (September 16, 2013, until approximately October 21, 2014), Cisco CCIE Storage #18460 John Berrett allegedly falsely and fraudulently redirected more than $476,000 of WWT's funds for his personal gain.
