Cisco's Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) product managers have skedaddled

A couple of weeks ago, Cisco announced its new Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) products:

"Cisco's offering ASA with FirePOWER comes in two flavors: customers can purchase ASA 5500-X Series and ASA 5585-X Series firewall products with a bundled FirePOWER Services license; or customers can enable FirePOWER Services on existing ASA 5500-X Series and ASA 5585-X Series firewall products. A one year subscription for a FirePOWER license costs $4,295. It is available now."

Now the product managers responsible for Cisco's Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) have skedaddled:
 

• Tony Paterra - Cisco's NGFW Product Manager
• Sandeep Jain - Cisco's NGFW Product Line Manager

 

Additionally, the following SVPs have left Cisco too:
 

1. Sri Hosakote Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cisco's Switching and Wireless Group

2. Surya Panditi Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cisco's Service Provider Networking Group

3. David Yen Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cisco's Data Center Group
