Why HP is going to buy VMware (i.e. EMC)

The following five VMware presentations will help give you an idea on why HP will buy VMware (i.e. EMC at least in my opinion).

I feel very confident that HP will buy VMware (i.e. EMC).

As of June 30, 2014, EMC held approximately 79.8% of VMware's outstanding common stock.

Also keep in mind that EMC owns 97.2% of the combined voting power of VMware's outstanding common stock, including 43 million shares of VMware's Class A common stock and all of VMware's Class B common stock. VMware is a majority-owned and controlled subsidiary of EMC, and its results of operations and financial position are consolidated with EMC's financial statements.
