Has Cisco strategy guru and senior vice president Inder Sidhu been quietly put out to pasture?

It's been my experience that when the bio of a Cisco executive is removed from Cisco's Mount Rushmore, it may not be a good signal for the Cisco career of that executive.

CiscoInder SidhuCisco appears to have quietly shutdown its much ballyhooed "innovation factory," the Emerging Technology Group (ETG).

Heck, it was only 6-years ago that Cisco enthusiastically gushed:

"ETG is planting the seeds to Cisco's future."

Meanwhile, it was only 3-months ago that Inder Sidhu spoke at the 2013 Wharton MBA graduation ceremony:

Confirmed:

Cisco's Senior Director - Compliance Systems and Investigations, Paul J. Ortiz, has left Cisco.
