Cisco employees stole Cisco gear that raked in $37 million

"Prosecutors alleged Dang bought stolen goods from Cisco employees... reselling it in a fraud scheme that raked in $37 million."

CiscoEarlier this evening the San Francisco Chronicle published an astonishing story (at least in my opinion):

"Prosecutors alleged Dang bought stolen goods from Cisco employees... reselling it in a fraud scheme that raked in $37 million."

I mean, that just totally blows my mind (i.e. Cisco employees stealing $37 million worth of Cisco equipment).

Finally, we've got a story here about the altering of serial numbers on stolen Cisco equipment from Cisco by Cisco employees.

That in a nutshell appears to be a major Cisco Audit, Brand Protection and Compliance issue!

Here's the contact information for the outfit that worked with Cisco employees to resell stolen Cisco equipment that the Cisco employees had stolen from Cisco:

Network Genesis
2526 Qume Drive, Suite 19
San Jose, CA 95131
Website: http://www.networkgenesis.net
Telephone: 408-573-0691

View the Network Genesis location on a map, its just a short drive from Cisco's corporate headquarters.

List of Cisco equipment that may have been stolen from Cisco by Cisco employees and then offered for sale on the Network Genesis website (view without frames):
